Why we exist

An Indian wedding is not one event — it's a festival season for two families. Mehndi, haldi, sangeet, the wedding itself, the reception: each with its own guests, budget and beautiful chaos. Yet almost every planning tool online assumes a single ceremony, a single guest list and a budget in dollars.

WedMeWed starts from the opposite end: the real structure of an Indian wedding. Our calculators understand per-plate catering, jewellery budgets in grams of gold, guest lists that come from two households, and the difference between a 200-person sangeet and a 700-person reception.

What we're building

A collection of 20 free tools, launching in batches over the coming weeks:

• Budget tools — wedding budget calculator, cost per guest, catering and venue budgets, city-wise cost estimator.
• Ceremony tools — dedicated calculators for mehndi, haldi, bridal makeup, decoration and photography.
• Financial tools — wedding loan EMI, savings planner, gold jewellery budget, family expense split.
• Planner tools — a date-driven wedding timeline and a customisable, printable checklist.

Our principles

• Free means free. No paywalls, no "premium" results, no account required.
• Private by design. Calculations run in your browser. We don't store your budget.
• Show the working. Every tool explains its formula, assumptions and limitations in plain language.
• India first. Rupees, ceremonies, seasons, city tiers — defaults that match reality here.
