Wedmewed respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement.

1. Our Position on Copyright

Wedmewed is a music discovery platform that embeds publicly available songs and videos from YouTube and other third-party platforms. We do not host, store, or distribute any copyrighted audio or video content on our servers.

2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content on our website infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to us containing the following information:

  • Your full name and contact information (address, phone number, email).
  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • The URL or specific location of the allegedly infringing content on our website.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notification with the following information:

  • Your full name, address, and contact information.
  • Identification of the content removed and its former location.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the content was removed in error.
  • Your consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant courts.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

5. Repeat Infringers

Wedmewed maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.

6. Response Time

We aim to respond to all DMCA notices within 3–5 business days. Upon receiving a valid notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.
